Bachelor of Science in Integrated Design in Emerging Architecture (IDEA)


Qualifications for

1. Eligibility:

Graduated from or studying in the final term of Matthayom Suksa 6 (M.6) or its equivalent or higher under the following conditions:

  1. 1. For students who are currently enrolled or have graduated from an institution in Thailand
    • * Graduated from or currently enrolled in the final term of Matthayom Suksa 6 (M.6) or its equivalent in Thailand secondary education system or
    • * Graduated from or currently enrolled in the final year of secondary school (grade 12 in the US system or year 13 in the British system) in an international school in Thailand.
  2. 2. For students who are currently enrolled or have graduated from overseas or GED credential holders, please check the list of secondary education equivalency system in Annex 1 Except 7. Other Vocational School diploma.

Remarks:

  • 1. Please ensure that you meet the additional academic requirements of the applied program in Annex 2
  • 2. Those who are “currently enrolled" should ensure that you provide the official transcript and certificate on the day of new student registration. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.

2. Academic:
  • 2.1 Applicants who are studying in or have graduated from the Thai educational system are required to have the latest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), 5 semesters for those who are studying and 6 semesters for those who already graduated, of overall grade of 2.50, and must have Physics and/or Mathematics with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in each subject.
  • 2.2 Applicants who submit a Standard Equivalency Certification must have Physics and/or Mathematics in their transcript or listed in a standardized test (e.g. AP exam scores).
  • 2.3 All applicants are required to submit the following additional documents:
    • 1) Personal Art portfolio, design and handicraft (no more than 10 pages A4 size in PDF format, with the file size not over 16 MB).
    • 2) Statement of Purpose, stating their interest in the program and their intentions for their future (no more than 2 pages A4 size in PDF format, with the file size not over 1 MB).
    • 3) Reference Letter (no more than 2 pages A4 size in PDF format, with the file size not over 1 MB) from a homeroom teacher, a guidance counselor, or a teacher who can certify the student’s portfolio work as well as his/her ability, talents, and development.

3. Admission Track

There are 2 admission tracks available for applicants;



English Proficiency Qualification

  • 1) Applicants who are Native English Speakers and from a country where English is an official language are exempted from the English Proficiency requirement.
  • 2) Applicants who are Non-Native English Speakers or from a country where English is not an official language must submit one of the following Standard English Proficiency Test with a minimum score of:
  • o IELTS minimum band score of 5.0 or
  • o TOEFL minimum score of 500 PBT or 173 CBT or 61 IBT or
  • o TOEFL ITP Test with a minimum score of 500 PBT from institute/ center accredited by the Institute of International Education (IIE) or
  • o TOEIC minimum score of 600.
  • 3) Applicants who are Non-Native English Speakers and have graduated from an international high school or have graduated from a high school in a country where English is an official language and English is the means of instruction are exempted from the English Proficiency requirement, do not need to submit any Standard English Proficiency Test.
